Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny did not die in prison, as representatives of the prison administration are trying to explain his death to us.

He was purposefully and deliberately murdered!

The accomplices in this murder are Russian judges, prosecutors, special services operatives, Investigative Committee investigators, poisoners from the FSB Special Branch, and prison guards in the Vladimir and Yamal prisons.

But the main customer and organiser of this heinous crime is Putin!

By his personal order, Alexey Navalny was tortured in courts for three years, dealing with fictitious “crimes”, wrongfully denied in cassations and appeals, and denied all claims against the jailers, where he was not allowed out of the cold cell of the punitive isolation ward for months.

On Putin’s orders, Alexey Navalny was poisoned with Novichok in 2020, and only a miracle helped him to survive. No one of the FSB poisoners was punished, no investigation was conducted and there was no trial of the murderers in epaulettes. There can be only one explanation for this inaction of the authorities – this case was supervised by Putin personally and he also covered the poisoners from justice.

This is not the first political murder in Russia. Another prominent opposition figure, Boris Nemtsov, was shot outside the Kremlin in 2015. In memory of this prominent Russian statesman, streets, squares and parks in European cities where Russian embassies and consulates are located are named after him.

This tradition of European countries is very much disliked by the Putin regime, which is furious at the mere mention of the names of Alexey Navalny, Boris Nemtsov and Anna Politkovskaya. Putin has his own “heroes” – participants in the occupation of Ukraine and his deputies in Chechnya.

We want to remind officials of Russian diplomatic institutions that there are and will remain real heroes in the history of Russia – people who sacrificed their lives for freedom and democracy, who dreamed of building a beautiful Russia of the future. Russia which is opened to the world, fair, good-neighbourly, peaceful, without thieves and corrupt officials in power, a country of equal opportunities for all. And one of these Heroes is Alexey Navalny.

We appeal to the Luxembourg City Hall and the City Council with a petition, in which we ask to rename the street or part of the street Cyprien Merjai, where the Consulate of the Russian Federation is located, into Alexey Navalny Street.

We want the diplomatic representatives of the Russian state, which is responsible for the death of Alexey Navalny, to be reminded every day when they come to work of the crime committed by Putin’s dictatorial regime against this brave and courageous man – a true patriot and hero of Russia.
